Anderson to LaVenture Road Extension
A new arterial roadway in South Mount Vernon will connect the south end of LaVenture Road at Blackburn to the Anderson Road - Interstate 5 interchange in Skagit County.

Sealed bid proposals were received by the City of Mount Vernon at the office of the City Finance Director, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Washington, 98273 until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at which time the bids were opened and publicly read.
A pre-bid meeting was held at the City of Mount Vernon Wastewater Treatment Plant facility at 1401 Britt Road, Mount Vernon, WA, on
Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
Two bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Tecta America Seattle LLC of Seattle, WA for their bid in the amount of $129,533.78. The second bid was from Esary Roofing of Burlington, WA for their bid in the amount of $142,513.92. A bid tabulation breakdown will be posted later today.
