 Public Works Department: Director -  Esco Bell, P.E.
The City's Public Works Department maintains the infrastructure of the city.  It is the City's most diverse department, and employs 45 professionals dedicated to making sure the streets are maintained, the wastewater is treated, the surfacewater is handled appropriately, the garbage is collected, and the City's equipment fleet and buildings are maintained.

In addition, the Public Works Department provides engineering services for right-of-way management and support for the planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure.  Public Works also manages the City's capital improvement program.

Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan 2012 to 2017  Capital Programs Division - Assistant Public Works Director, Mikael Love, P.E.
The Capital Programs Division identifies and implements capital projects for the City's infrastructure. Provides staff engineering services to the City.

Surface Water Division - Engineering Manager - Blaine Chesterfield
This division manages the Stormwater Utility, provides mapping and infrastructure information systems, provides staff engineering services, to the City needed for overseeing (and/or coordinating with other departments to oversee) developer constructed publics works infrastructure.

Wastewater Division - Manager, Gary Duranceau
Provide conveyance and treatment of wastewater to protect public health and the environment.

Solid Waste Division - Manager, Scott Sutherland 
The Solid Waste Division collects and disposes of all municipal solid waste/garbage.  They also operate the City's yard waste facility.

Street Division - Manager, Charlie Tewalt
The Street Division maintains City Streets.   Potholes, pavement conditions, etc.; Drainage/ditching; Sidewalks; Roadside mowing; Street lights / traffic signals; Regulatory & street signs; Tree & brush cutting; Striping.

Equipment Maintenance Division - Manager, Gary Owens
Maintains the City's equipment fleet, leads the City's equipment procurement efforts, assists in the establishment and management of an equipment rental rate system.
