Follow-Up - August 9, 2005

On August 8, 2005, Investigators searched the home of the victim with the assistance of investigators from the Washington State Patrol and personnel from the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab. This search will continue and be concluded on August 9th.

Additionally, from information developed through this investigation, two suspects were identified. Two men ages 23 and 20, both from Mount Vernon, were arrested and booked into the Skagit County Jail for Investigation of 5 counts of drive by shooting.

A vehicle driven by the 20 year old suspect was impounded and investigators will be applying for a search warrant for this vehicle.
