The City of Mount Vernon's 2012 Budget is available for viewing.  City Council held a public hearing on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and adopted the 2012 Budget. 

The City of Mount Vernon is required by state law to adopt a balanced annual budget.  The budget plan reflects the coordinated efforts of all City Departments and Elected Officials in identifying community needs and establishing priorities within the City's financial limitations.  Each year a budget is completed by December 31st.

 

Summarized versions of the 20122011, 201020092008, 20072006, and 2005 budgets are available. The City Library carries a copy of the full versions of these budgets.  These summaries are presented with the understanding that it is dated information for historical reference only.
